Put your bag down
I’m not a threat, I go through security
To find out where I’m going is not where I want to be
Don’t move to Germany, don’t move to the USA
The boredom keeps you humble, the masochism keeps you at bay
And fascist fanatics, they try to poke at it,
Peeling the scab like bubblegum elastic
And it makes it hard, it makes it hard,
Like a brick to black man’s face it’s fucking hard
But we can’t afford any deaths on the frontline
We can’t afford any deaths on the frontline
I’m not a threat I go through security
To find out where I’m going is not where I want to be
Don’t move to Germany, don’t move to the USA,
I’ve always been the leaver, never the leavee,
So hey we can win, we can win, we can win
Only the paranoid survive; if I wasn’t so scared I wouldn’t be alive
Won’t kill us, won’t kill us
I’m sick and tired of talking about the politics of leaving
I want everyone to know my heart is bleeding
Scum trying to create a racially pure state
Everyone you like ain’t allowed to stay
You’ve got to learn how to make something out of nothing
You’ve got to learn how to make something out of nothing
If you hate yourself here, you’ll hate yourself in Berlin too
If you hate yourself here, you’ll hate yourself in Paris too
If you hate yourself here, you’ll hate yourself in London too
Great protopunk-inspired album that includes surf music as salty as the Dead Sea. Track 2 (“Buffalo Bill”) is like showdown with Juniore at high noon. Cameron Toll
Ooh I tried not to buy this album at first but it crept up on me & made me fall in love with it. Every track is great with killer hooks. Love the pace of it. energygirl
